Hotel Croce di Malta is located only a few steps from both the Arno River and the Santa Maria Novella railway station. The church of the same name makes up one of the corners of an ideal triangle of works of art linking Piazza Santa Maria Novella, the Ponte Vecchio and Piazza Duomo, all of which only a few minutes’ walk away. The San Lorenzo area is also nearby, with the famous Cappelle Medicee chapels, the Uffizi Art Museum and the Accademia Galleries. The location is perfect for those who wish to be close to the most prestigious boutiques, the banks of the Arno River and the main monuments without having to give up peace and quiet and comfort. Although located in a limited-traffic area, hotel guests can easily reach the hotel by car, and there is a reserved baggage loading/unloading area in front of the entrance.

How to get to the hotel
From the railway station: you can easily get to the hotel in 5 minutes on foot or by taxi
By car: Get off the motorway at either Firenze Nord or Firenze Certosa exit and then follow directions to the Railway Station. From the Railway Station, take Via Santa Caterina da Siena and turn left at the traffic light. The hotel is approximately 100 m on the right side of the street and it has reserved space to stop and unload luggage.
Florence-Peretola Airport: it can be easily reached by taxi for a fare of approximately Euro 25.00.
Pisa Airport: a 45-minute trip by comfortable shuttle bus takes you directly from the airport to the Santa Maria Novella railway station.
